LinkMenuz legal
Terms of Service
The agreement between LinkMenuz and each restaurant, hotel or other venue that creates an account or uses the service.
Version 1.0 · Effective 26 August 2026
1. Who we are
LinkMenuz is a digital-menu and restaurant-ordering technology service operated in Uganda by Mwesigwa Benjamin Solomon (“LinkMenuz”, “we”, “us”). Contact: benjaminsolomon350@gmail.com. Physical business and service address: Nansana Kyebando, Uganda.
2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, choosing a paid plan or using LinkMenuz for a business, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are at least 18 and authorised to act for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. What LinkMenuz provides
- A hosted digital menu and public menu link.
- QR codes for tables, rooms, counters, packages or other approved locations.
- Tools for menu content, availability, promotions and venue order management.
- Delivery-order handoff to a restaurant’s WhatsApp where enabled.
- Free and paid plans with the features and limits displayed at the time of selection.
We provide the technology. The restaurant remains the seller and supplier of its food, drinks, delivery and hospitality services.
4. Accounts and security
You must give accurate information, protect your login details, restrict access to authorised staff and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security.
5. Restaurant responsibilities
The restaurant is responsible for menu accuracy, prices, taxes, allergens, stock, food safety, licences, customer service, order fulfilment, refunds owed to guests and compliance with applicable law. It must monitor its order board and independently confirm receipt of urgent or unusual orders.
6. Orders and WhatsApp
LinkMenuz transmits order information but does not prepare, sell or deliver food. An order is not accepted until the restaurant confirms it. Delivery orders may open WhatsApp with prepared text; sending that message shares the customer’s details with the restaurant and WhatsApp. Internet, device or third-party failures can delay or prevent transmission.
7. Plans, payment and expiry
Displayed prices include applicable taxes. Paid subscriptions last one month from activation unless we agree otherwise in writing. While the gateway is unavailable, paid plans are arranged through our official WhatsApp number, +256 747 077420, and normally activated within 24 hours after payment is verified and the correct account is identified. Manual plans do not renew automatically. Our Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of menu text, photographs, logos and other content you provide. You give LinkMenuz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, resize, display and technically process that content only as needed to provide, secure and promote your menu. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required for anything you upload.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use LinkMenuz for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful activity; upload malware or infringing content; bypass plan limits or security controls; interfere with the service; scrape personal data; impersonate another business; or use the service to sell prohibited goods.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep LinkMenuz reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, improve, replace or discontinue features. For a material change that significantly reduces a paid plan during its current term, we will use reasonable efforts to give notice or offer a proportionate remedy.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend an account to protect users or the service, address non-payment, suspected fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct or a serious breach. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it. You may stop using LinkMenuz or request account closure at any time; outstanding obligations survive closure.
12. Privacy and third parties
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. LinkMenuz may rely on hosting, database, messaging, analytics and other providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for a third-party service beyond what applicable law requires.
13. Warranties
LinkMenuz is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied promises not expressly stated here. Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory right or liability that Ugandan law does not permit us to exclude.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity or loss caused by matters outside its reasonable control. LinkMenuz’s total liability for claims connected with the service is limited to the greater of UGX 100,000 or the subscription fees the restaurant paid during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
This cap does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, wilful misconduct or another non-excludable liability.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, the restaurant will protect LinkMenuz from third-party claims caused by its food, service, content, unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms, except to the extent the claim was caused by LinkMenuz.
16. Governing law and resolving concerns
Ugandan law governs these Terms. If a concern arises, contact us first and both sides will try in good faith to resolve it. Nothing here prevents either side from using a court, regulator or other remedy available under applicable law.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. The current version and effective date will appear here, and material changes will be communicated reasonably. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance of the updated Terms.
