LinkMenuz legal
Guest Ordering Terms
These terms apply when a guest scans a LinkMenuz QR code, browses a restaurant menu, or sends an in-house or delivery order.
Version 1.0 · Effective 26 August 2026
1. The parties
LinkMenuz provides the menu and ordering technology. The restaurant, hotel or venue shown on the menu is the seller and is responsible for the food, drinks, prices, preparation, delivery and customer service. LinkMenuz is operated by Mwesigwa Benjamin Solomon in Uganda.
2. Before ordering
Check the restaurant name, location, table or room code, items, quantities, price and notes before sending an order. Tell the restaurant directly about allergies or urgent dietary needs; a digital note alone may not be sufficient. Ask the restaurant if you need information about ingredients, allergens, alcohol, age limits or availability.
3. Sending and accepting an order
Pressing the order button sends information to the restaurant’s order board or opens WhatsApp with prepared order text. A submission confirmation means the information was sent through the service, not that the restaurant has accepted, prepared or guaranteed the order. The restaurant may confirm, reject, change or contact you about it.
4. In-house orders
A table, room or counter QR code is linked to a location. Do not deliberately order from a location you are not using. If the code or order details look wrong, speak to venue staff before relying on them.
5. Delivery and WhatsApp
For delivery, you may be asked for your name, phone number and address. LinkMenuz prepares the message, but you choose whether to send it in WhatsApp. The restaurant must confirm availability, delivery coverage, timing, charges and payment. WhatsApp and the restaurant process the sent information under their own terms and privacy practices.
6. Prices and payment
Menu prices are provided by the restaurant. Any delivery fee, service charge, substitution or price correction should be agreed with the restaurant before payment or fulfilment. Unless the menu clearly says otherwise, LinkMenuz does not receive a guest’s payment for food and cannot independently issue the restaurant’s refund.
7. Cancellations, problems and refunds
Contact the restaurant promptly about cancellation, missing items, food quality, delivery, overcharging or refunds. The restaurant decides these matters subject to applicable law. If the problem concerns the LinkMenuz technology or misuse of your information, contact us at benjaminsolomon350@gmail.com.
8. Responsible use
- Do not send false, abusive, unlawful or fraudulent orders.
- Do not interfere with the menu, ordering system, QR code or another guest’s order.
- Do not submit another person’s details without authority.
- Do not rely on LinkMenuz for emergency or life-critical communication.
9. Availability and liability
Networks, devices and third-party services can fail or delay an order. Confirm urgent requests directly with restaurant staff. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkMenuz is not responsible for the restaurant’s food, service, pricing, delivery, acceptance or refund decisions. Nothing here excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
10. Privacy and law
Our Privacy Notice explains how order and device information is handled. Ugandan law applies to these terms. A guest may use any complaint, court, regulator or other remedy available under applicable law.
